Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located near Drymen and provides easy access to Balloch, Balmaha, walks, and Loch Lomond. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, though some face the car park where the coach is parked. The service could be more welcoming, but coped well despite the busy Saturday night. Dining options are basic, with occasional empty plates. The central location near Lake Lamond and Glasgow is a major plus.
My stay at this hotel was like a home away from home. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The Deluxe double room with a king-size bed and all amenities, including a TV at the end of the bath, was definitely worth the upgrade. However, the dining experience had its ups and downs.
The hotel is a decent option, with fine rooms that fit the bill, but could benefit from additional power sockets for our devices. The staff were standard, expected, comfortable, and clean. The service was delightful, with early room readiness and lovely staff. The location offers beautiful scenery, though missing a view from the room would've been nice. The dining experience had some issues but good staff recommendations made up for it.
The hotel had a lovely scenery with hot water, but the rooms were a bit small for two people with suitcases. The cleanliness was impeccable, but the pillows lacked filling. There were some issues with the kitchen exhaust noise and poor food choices in the restaurant, yet these were manageable with staff assistance.
The hotel is conveniently located in the quaint village of Drymen, overlooking a village Green. The rooms are decent overall, but some issues like the ceiling coating falling down need attention. The service provided was a mix of inexperienced cleaning staff downstairs and excellent, helpful service elsewhere. The dining experience had a few shortcomings, although there was a fair choice available. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the Trossachs area, but it could improve its dining options for a better overall experience.
